Association committees are a rewarding way to participate in projects of particular interest to you. Current committees are below. If you have an idea for an event or project you’d like to see happen in the neighborhood, please propose it to the Board for consideration. Current committees include:  

Neighborhood Character Protection - works to maintain our current & diverse mix of housing types. Because of our neighborhood’s proximity to UNM, proposed City zoning changes could significantly change the character of the neighborhood. The committee follows proposed changes to the City’s IDO.

Zoning – Ensuring compliance to zoning ordinances in the Spruce Park Neighborhood. 

Pollinators – occasional events and activities to promote pollinator-friendly practices and habitat development. 

Special Events – events sponsored by SPNA or through a grant from Bernalillo County.

Church Outreach – working with churches in the neighborhood to create and improve relationships.

New Neighbors – Welcoming new neighbors and outreach within Spruce Park Neighborhood.
